EXCLUSIVE EVENT UNDRESSES THE SECRETS OF SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (SEO)
Southern Californian Marketing Professionals learn the tricks and secrets to solving the SEO mystery
IRVINE, CA – APRIL 11, 2007
It’s a mystery to most, but for those who attended last month’s “BREAKTHROUGH Marketing Strategies for the Web” seminar held at the Dave & Busters in the Irvine Spectrum, SEO no longer exists in a vague world of creepy crawlers combing the Internet. Hundreds of Southern Californian executive marketing professionals were invited to hear expert speakers John Carley, President, and Suzanne Qursha, Training & Education Director, of the sponsor company, Trinet Internet Solutions, Inc., discuss the following topics:
• Web 2.0 & emerging online technologies
• Web design, visual hierarchy & navigation
• Social media marketing (SMM)
• Interactive Web applications
• Community-based online environments
• User-generated Web content
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Effective e-mail marketing strategies
“Providing this kind of information in a tangible way to those who use it… not to mention, need it… and for free no less, is an important part of what we do. It’s as simple as sharing the knowledge we’ve accumulated over the years of how to build and maintain a successful eMarketing campaign and explaining it in a way that, for those who aren’t familiar with Web marketing, can take the information back to their organizations and apply it with confidence,” according to John Carley.
Those who attended the event ranged in industry and size, varying from independent hospitality companies to large pharmaceutical companies and mid-size advertising agencies to small financial institutions. “With a widely applicable topic like Web Marketing and SEO, there is no industry, company or organization, that cannot use this kind of information,” declared Danielle Berry, Director of Sales / Marketing of Trinet. “But not only can they use the information… they need it. It’s no longer enough to just have a website – you’ve got to be on the cutting-edge of web marketing technology to compete in today’s marketplace.”
According to a Pew Internet survey, people are now using search engines just as much as they are checking their e-mail. Even more frightening (at least for those who aren’t already utilizing this method), is that search engines are expected to grow to an $11.1 billion industry by the year 2010, hinting at the importance and urgency of learning the techniques behind this force now.
Marketing professionals of all backgrounds stood to gain valuable information from the speakers’ presentation. According to one attendee, “John was very informative… I learned a lot of good information from him.” And Suzanne was just as insightful with her expressive speaking style and in-depth knowledge and experience in the industry, allowing attendees to walk away with “plenty to digest” as one executive articulated before leaving the seminar.
Feedback from the event verified that the idea of SEO had been mostly unexplored before this event for those who attended; in fact, one of Trinet’s newest clients who attended the event, exclaimed, “Thank you so much! I didn’t realize what I was missing out on until today. I’m so grateful!”
Attendees of this event have already begun extensive plans to implement the ideas put forth during the seminar, and some have even requested information on the next Trinet – sponsored event, which is scheduled to be held in June 2007.
