Generation Joshua (GenJ) is a Christian youth organization founded in 2003 that aims to encourage young people to learn about and become involved in government, history, civics, and politics. To achieve their digital goals, Generation Joshua partnered with Trinet to design and launch a new website.
The initial pre-strategy phase out of three included a focus group with the purpose of soliciting feedback from Generation Joshua visitors, including teens and parents, about the experience and online expectations for a new Generation Joshua website. The results of the focus group revealed some significant insights that were useful to direct the strategy and design phase.
- To validate and solicit feedback from teens and parents about the existing website
- To solicit ideas about how GenJ’s website could be improved
- Trinet developed a comprehensive summary report with recommendations
- Fundamentally changed the direction and focus of the website development process
- Created a website that was closely aligned with the website’s visitors
